Hi John, you missed a great run, one of those magical fresh sunny mornings after lots of rain when everything seems to sparkle.
Think the count was around 32-35 buses with a few sweet bugs & Type 3's
Followed a slightly different route through Manly via the Wharf, Sth Steyne & then along beaches to Mona Vale for cuppa at the surf club, the intention was to cruise up to Palmy, as per normal.
Seemed like everyone else had a similar idea & we even found it hard to park at Mona Vale beach, Palmy gets even busier on Sunday's & we didn't want to get 35 kombis stuck overheating on Bilgola bends so decided on Bayview boat ramp, with lots of parking & besides it was already noon.
Only around half made it to Bayview as some had to leave as the day was moving on, caught up with some familiar faces & made lots of new one's, as you do
Big thanks to Zip for putting in the effort & organizing the run
    Tony

Nothing like a deadline, to work to, to get a timely result. :)

Work backwards on the calendar from May 6 as complete, and fill in what needs to be done by what time to reach the goal! ;)

The problem though is that I keep adding to what needs to be done.

It will be complete one day, (i.e. Roadworthy, registered, insurable and driveable), but it's doubtful it will ever be finished.;)

After that, there'll always be that list of extra things you want to do, and over time, some of those things will be deducted, and other things will be added - it's a Kombi! :)

    You're probably right.

Even though mine was purchased new as a necessary mode of transport with useful methods of pick up and delivery for business purposes back in 1988...... ....it's still here, and has indeed become a way of life!
