    Congratulations to Alannah (sp ?)
Good result and great to see.
Also good to make it an adventure but the obligatory tray top return isnt actualy compulsory even tho a few well known members seem to indulge.

We are going to do a similar trip in june. Going from jervis bay across through hay to adelaide then coming back via the great ocean rd. For a national level sporting event as well. Funny that

    That was NRMA Premiums decision.

Funny they had to source him from Goulburn as the bloke in Yass who had dual cab tray top to trucks was either too busy or couldn't find a driver for his trucks.

The towie was great - we got home by about 9:30pm - we had a good run - no traffic.

Excellent service these days, and glad you made it home.:)

There was a time, when towies were not allowed passengers, and took the vehicle, leaving you on the side of the road....o_O

Glad times have changed, and if I ever need a tray top, I know what to expect....:p

Just got around to jacking up the car today as I didnt need to go to the city.... found my new rear disc caliper had vibrated loose and one bolt dropped out meaning the caliper was grabbing on the wheel in reverse and not letting the van reverse and hence the noise when driving with the caliper dragging on the wheel.

Anyway a much easier fix than I expected but still the gearbox is going in for some new bearings before it does actually die.

Also a new donk is happening too.

At least I can drive it again until I need to pull it apart again.

Perhaps some lock tight on the threads, check them all

    Yes,

Just picked up a new bolt from the mechanics and he dropped some locktite on the threads of the two bolts (ie the loose 1 which I still had and the new replacement one).

Hopefully they wont come loose again.

    Check yours too Phil.

However I think that Great Ocean Rd with the bends would have caused the issue.
