Good to hear they were counted
I got 243 on Sunday! The parade was the most fun.
I have loads of photos but photobucket is beyond me. Not to many of Bindi though. Too much competition and no awards for good honest unmolested kombis.
Top weekend but you must attend next year as no waves around so I have put that down to you not being there, it's your fault so make sure you turn up in 2017, you wave magnet.
And when you contribute another for the count in 2017......
Along with Mark (oldman), some others, and even I'll be throwing a couple in for the count.......
2017 should be bigger and better than ever!
Ahhh Steve...you can count on that my friend
Hi everyone ............Thank you to everyone who came to the Old Bar Beach Kombi Festival ......It was the best weekend I have ever had.............seeing all those beautiful Kombis and talking to all the wonderful owners .........The weather was perfect and everything went well.....the " official " count on Sunday at the Show and Shine was 249 Kombis , but there were a lot more in the Town......probably closer to 300 !!!! I really enjoyed the Kombi Convoy to the Roundabout on Saturday. It was fantastic , waving to the Kombi owners going the " other way ".......the fireworks were loud and bright , along with all the music from the bands......see you all again next year.....thanks for all the photos....David McMahon in Old Bar.
Tis a long way up the hill from our place!
But well worth the adventure.....
A few stray photos i had that I thought I would share - a bit late but better than never

Maxi's bed - he stayed there all night happily - T3 caravelles are great for traveling with your mut.
Lucky Phil's set up:
Gerry and Robyn all the way from Victoria:
Max thoroughly enjoying playing at the show with a kelpie who ran him ragged:
A very nice T3 caravelle that used to be owned by someone on here:
Bens's 69 which is one of my inspirations for my 69 kombi:
A nice rat T3 panel:
And look what i found on Facebook:
Hi Scott, great to see a "slight" bias towards the T3s in your pics!
Was there really any bias?
I just thought he chose the best looking Kombi's on the day.......
He did Grant.....Ben's '69
