    I'll be there.

I was hoping for Valla but with additional engine work the DC won't be ready. I've already booked a place at Old Bar though, so I now have a deadline.

This is our original Kombi event. Before we owned a kombi we stayed at Meridian and got hooked and so every year we rebook for the following year as we leave :D

Every VW van is basically a camper in the waiting. With your unlimited joinery skills Grant - I'm sure you could whip up a camper interior quick smart

Probably could, but I fill my vehicles with other peoples cabinets, and if I fitted my camping cabinets, there’d be no room left for their’s........:(

So then I’d need a THIRD one, to be the private toy. Actually, if I bought a 3rd T3, it would have to be camper, as I may no longer be welcome inside the house, and I’d need somewhere to sleep.

    Today’s efforts:

You could build a log cabin on the SC and tell Carole its a customer job awaiting delivery but he's still overseas.?

Or just a big delivery crate.
You should be able to handle one of those :D

    Nice cabinetry there Grant.

    Watch out for low bridges.

Who drives the second vehicle? Or have you worked out a scheme to drive both by yourself at the same time?

No bridges....just branches. Only 2.85m, so looks worse than it was.;)

Second vehicle driven by whichever offsider I can convince to come and do a 13 hour day with me....

Where does everybody stay? Surely everyone can’t stay at Lanis.
Is there any free camping or cheap campgrounds nearby that people stay for the weekend?

    Hi Nate,
Lanis by the beach is the main camp ground. We rebook our site, as do most peeps, every year. Worth giving them a ring asap or You can usually rock up on the sat & there are vacancies (folks who didn't make it )
Rangers patrol the car park, although the line "can't drive had too much to drink" is a good one lol
Don't know if there is any free camping in area, if there is it would be packed.
    Great family weekend
A group of us usually dak up together on Friday, you're welcome to join in :D
    Cheers
