Interior mostly stripped out. The interior is actually where the most work is required, as opposed to body or engine.

Seats structurally in good condition, just the original covers are stuffed.

Welding required on one of the front seats. Simple job. (For a welder).

I’m now investigating replacing front seats with Recaros or getting originals re upholstered. The recovered ones on Busnbug website look terrific.

Recaro ‘Specialist’ model seats look the business. Expensive but you get what you pay for. We’ll compare the quote for re-upholstering the originals and make a decision. Recaro no longer make a specific base frame to fit to old VW’s, apparently.

Are your seats on the 2 runner set up or the later 3 point?
The 3 point can sit your seat higher.

There use to be Scat version of bases available.
    Still needed mods.

If you have a look on my 1303 link you can see the base I bade up.

Ok - just saw you are the 2 runner version

Pretty easy to make up a base that the Recaros can attach to.
