I thought here was as good a place for any to post pics.

The Qld/Northern NSW/Newcastle/Central Coast/Sydney convoy cruising down the M7 at about 11.40am this morning on the way to Canberra.

All I could do was wave :( ... and take some pics. This is the best of them. A bit grainy unfortunately - maybe I shouldn't have used the zoom.

I'll be down there tomorrow. :) It was nice to get my first (sort of) Kombi Wave today! :D

    Cammo,

    I see you're online. Who's cooking dinner?

Wish I was down there now. Hope there's a few guitars there. Will bring mine tomorrow.

    Raining here in Sydney.

    Scum bags, I hate you all:D :D
I take it the Vic convoy was trouble free? If so that is excelent considering colectively the age of the kombis participating is probably about 300 or so.
Happy easter to everyone. I hope easter bunny knows where to find you.
    All the best.

Great photos guys, keep them coming. I noticed the Rev in the middle of the convoy, no good trying to hide in the middle of the pack mate, Rose likes to be out the front.

These shots were taken this morning, some when the Kombi's left for the cruise, some while they stopped at Old Parliament House. Please note that I only got some of the cars on the camera, apologies to those I didn't get...but they looked good!

I can only imagine the hum of all those Dak Dak motors on mass.......Some great buses there. Like the scooter on the back!

Don't get lost on those canberra circles. I went for a drive one night and took me two hours to get home....I was only going round the block ( Ros reminds me this also happened to me in hobart, and almost anywhere else....all roads lead to anakie (vic)) !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    kombi74,

i agree with you mate. dont get lost there as it is so easy to do so. we were there about 4 years ago and when we left took us 2 hours to find our way out of the place and that was 7 am in the morning when there was no one around.

    cheers brioan and cathy

Come on you slackers! We want more photos now! If I have to be stuck here at the pickle factory I'm going to make good use of the resources.
