    Bus Stop Success!

    Hi everyone,
Just would like to say a big thankyou to Melissa for organising an awesome weekend, the kids and I had a great time. It was great to meet such lovely people, but Hey! all Kombi owners are lovely of course.
The mystery cruise into Canberra was fun, we certainly learnt heaps about the place, very educational, well done Melissa.
Thanks also to Lorraine and Andy for staying on my tail coming back to Newcastle making sure I arrived home safe and for organising the convoy.
Tried to put some pics on, no luck will try later.
And Tom, hope you are looking after that torch of yours!
Will try to make it to the Kombifest in June to catch up with everyone again.
    Cheers,
    Jacqui and kids.

    A few more

Trying to find some "unique" photos from the weekend, and these are the best I can get.
This is Soph driving Sebastian for the first time, the Friday morning after leaving our campsite. I was nervous as heck, but she was a natural

Upon arriving at Eaglehawk, we were greeted by this crazy looking clown...

And then, waking up on Saturday morning to the sun and circle of kombis in the not so far distance

    The last three from me

Sundary morning was the big day, a cruise with all the kombis (we counted 33). Here are two kombi babes modeling the clothing of choice for the day, Soph and Carol.

    And Brian and Andrew....

And then once at the picnic, Adam got creative on the grill...

Great photos (and videos) guys - just makes me more jealous than ever before. Thanks! :)

We actually saw Mish, Roy and another green/blue T3 meeting to begin their convoy when we were driving down the coast. I practially jumped out the window trying to wave, but sensible husband pulled me back in (we were going 110 after all!).

Kids and I had a Kombi spotting competition from Brisbane down to South West Rocks and we came up with 48, with a lot of them being the newer version. That then led us onto a deep and meaningful (as deep and meaningful as you can get with a 4, 6 and 11 year old)!) about whether the "newer" ones were rightfully called Kombis. Never fear - we all agreed that they were.

So glad you all had a great time and arrived home in one piece.
