    Hi all

I have a 74 T2 Bay pop top, but I need to strap 2 SUP Paddleboards to the pop top roof. Does anyone have any advice or experience in doing this? I assume I'll have to drill them in through the pop top roof, but any advice on the brad or roof rack type would be a huge help??

    Cheers, Guy

That will save any issues raising roof with weight on racks if secured to roof.
Assume its not too much hassle to remove to allow for raising roof?
    Usualy a compromise somewhere.

If i've measured right it shouldn't need to be removed, if it does it's only 2 bolts so it should be easy. I'll let you know next week after I pick them up

Are you straddling the pop top lengthwise.
    If that makes sense?

No. One goes across the front of the pop over the cab and the other at the back of the pop. I met with the guys at www.roofracksuperstore.com.au in Highpoint yesterday and we went through the measurements. Its really only going to be used for strapping down SUP paddleboards and / or mini mal surfboard

Yep. That's what I meant by my badly phrased comment :)
    Sounds good.
