Rotor gives up the ghost...... Surprised myself with a relatively quick diagnosis....

Got towed home, 5km, of all my parts no suitable spares. Low profile dizzy's curse you. So temporarily running. A 009 dizzy......

The simplest things can bring all that engineering to a complete standstill - glad you had a suitable fix handy..

I have no photos of my son's roadside assist but thought it would be worth mentioning.

On the way to Sawtell, Micheal (my son) stopped and helped a fellow member and family (Bensville?). He loaned his spare fuel pump to ensure they got to Sawtell. If the pump was not needed then he would get it back at Sawtell.

Anyhow fast forward to Tuesday after Easter. We set off to come back to Bungendore with Micheal in the '63 SC and myself in the '89 Syncro. We did a detour to Stan Pobjoy to pick up some bits for Volksparts. Anyhow late in the afternoon we stopped at Taree to refuel. I did th Syncro and Micheal the SC and we parked in the car park to discuss where we would camp that night. When we went to move the SC would not start. Diagnosis was the fuel pump. A quick call to REPCO and they said they had an electric pump that would work so Michael and myself took off in the Syncro to get the pump.

Whilst we were away guess who turned up in the car park. That's right the loaned fuel pump. How much luck is that. Barb said to Jess that if we drove in at that time Micheal would bust in to laughter. He did. The loaned pump was fitted and so far no further issues. Kama does come round.

Another one to the collection... almost 12 months down the track and only a couple of km's from last years motor seize - looks like its happened again.

For those of you that know who Mark is talking about - found out today that Hendrick was admitted to JHH last night with his heart. Here's hoping he makes a speedy recovery. That leaves Theo working on Little Red hopefully so I can have her back for a job Friday and Saturday. We need lots of luck for all of our problems at the moment.

    Bummer Mel.

    Best of luck with that.

I like Chucks idea of a bigger donk to handle the long freeway travels.
