    Go to http://photobucket.com/

    Register and then upload from you computer the photos you may want to post or just to store.

    When they are uploaded there is 3 descriptions at bottom of each photo. TAG, URL and IMG
    The one you want is IMG click on that one and it will go blue- Go to edit and then copy.

    Do your post and then when you want to insert pic click IMG above your text and the to Edit and Paste

    After your image has uploaded it will appear in your album with three descriptions below the image. The bottom one is titles IMG - Click in the IMG text box, when it goes blue try right clicking...you should get a copy option then paste into your thread. mmm It should work??

    You only have to right click on the IMG bar of script then add it into your post. Don't worry about clicking the "add image" button above the reply box when you are adding your message.

    Picture size and dimensions

    Are there any forum guidleines on the size, resolution and dimensions?

    I don't want to go overboard and put photos up that take an eternity and all your bandwidtch to download.

    Any tips?

    By using photobucket, it sizes it correctly for you..but you are limited to 4 photos per post..so if you want to add more than 4 photos at a time, put 4 links into your post, then do anothe rpost with another 4 photos.

    IT's ok 76.
    Photobucket has changed - if you upload then just click on it it copies the img adn you can then just paste it into the thread.

    Imae resizing

    Some forums have restrictions on image size, especially avatars, you can download free image resizing software, this allows you to reduce image to whatever size is required, heres the link;
