By popular demand, the pre-winter camp will be held again this year at Laanecoorie over the week-end of the 12th,13th and 14th May.
This is always a great casual weekend. We camp in an area with unpowered space, not sites, but wherever you want to park your van. The park also has cabins and powered sites, just not in the same area we stay.

For those who plan to come along, could I please ask you to consider grabbing some wood on the way. We had an amazing fire last year to cook over and to ward off the cold, which is what every Kombi enthusiast needs. Dogs are also welcome. Laanecoorie is not far from Melbourne and is a cheap week-end of fun and a great chance to catch up.

Alice and I have bags of firewood we scavenged from untreated waste so will bring some of that along. See you there! :)

As long as it's "untreated timber"......?o_O

Don't ever burn treated pine, chipboard, or MDF. They all burn, but the toxic fumes are really nasty!

Would love to be going guys, but Cathy has an operation on the 16th and doesn't want to take the risk of getting a cold.

G'day Virginia, we really wanted to get there this year but Vera's generator issue still exists. We've been so busy since getting back from Bus Stop and Paul simply hasn't had a chance to sort it.

I know it will be a cracker of a weekend and I hope you all have a blast.

    Cheers,
    Chrissy, Paul, Gracie and Joseph.

I find it surprising that you couldn't keep up in discussion with Paul for that long. :)
