Just wondering. Can the fixed quarter Windows on the front doors be changed for opening ones?
How do I go about doing this?

The previous owner of my 74 did this, which means it can be done :)

    Yes.
Sourcing good quality/original ones are the issue.
I bought mine from Roy at The Bus Stop......top quality & easy enough to fit.

    Currently out of stock.
Some members source them from the US successfully......not many 'round here & some folks want ridiculous money for 2nd hand units...
I also replaced the scrapers - inner & outer & felts at the same time....took best part of 1/2 a day from set up to pack up.
    Cheers,
    Mark

It really isn't a hard thing to do....basically, the old, fixed units un-bolt out and you replace them with the 1/4 frames with glass and hinges complete. If the scrapers are in good condition, you'll save yourself a couple of hours easily...
It's a job that is certainly within the capabilities of someone prepared to have go....it ain't that hard.
    Cheers,
    Mark

Fitted repro quarters a long time ago. Not as good as originals but OK. Fiddley job but not rocket science.
Great for travelling.. Ours are open most of the time.

Thats why I want quarter Windows, for good air flow. A bit worried about changing the original look of the bus.

They were an original option....very hard to tell the difference compared to fixed glass, unless you look really closely...
The improvement on airflow is remarkable

Our previous 1969 8 seater had opening vent windows as standard.
