Just starting this so we can have a sense of organising our Kombis into a rainbow at Mallacoota as suggested by MAP77 at Caves Beach Primary School . Here's mine & Old Boy will be at Mallacoota. Blue bus & sky circa 2005. LTC. Now lets get the rainbow going. MAP77 to start orange. Elsie76 you get the greens. Is that okay guys? Join the cause . Volunteers for other colour spectrums appreciated. Just blue/purple & white left if MAP & Elsie take it on. Get in early. My thoughts to achieve this is that Friday night is colour & parking position ( & thus mustering) for the park up. Seems like blues, dark blues, purples enter first (smallest part of arc & dictates lay of area) then greens & yellow, orange, red . White first or last? I say outside edge given their numbers. Cheers
May need to blend the reds, oranges & yellows to get the outside arc with enough buses. Most popular colour so can get the outside of the fan? Or you could just tell me I'm a nerd & you're not interested. I reckon we'll need to put white buses on the outside? Generally get 100 buses for BS so if we work on 20/row/colour spectrum & just the spacing changing (fan like). Note your attendance/bus colour/interest. Thanks. Cheers
At least I have a broad colour spectrum depends on which one I bring from yellow ,green and blue. About that other issue,no point telling you,you already know and it wouldn't make any difference. I'm OCD by others account it doesn't chance who I am.
Possibly this should be, if it relates to the BS'19, put in that section/thread Not sure of actual reason behind it
This is popular in the U.K. At Kombi events, takes someone to direct traffic but can make a great photo !
Somewhere in my mind (after some beers) it tranformed to Martini Olive. But I hope he will volunteer for the greens. As an ex painter I'm sure he can blend. Random thought of a KC member (MAP77) & a great photo? Move it to the right thread thanks Bert. Cheers
Are you sure the bus stop thread isn’t to the left? Or even up or down...... Or are you expecting any mod to forget direction, and just find the correct thread in their mind?
It won't be that difficult - as long as everyone knows before hand that reds go together, then the oranges go next etc...
Looks Good Pretty simple really - just form a line or arc in the colours. All Reds #1, Orange #2, Yellow#3, and so on to assist in forming up on the day
That's why I've asked for help from Mark & Craig to do the necessary on the night before so all get a position for muster & it be up to us to lay colour in order on the day. Cheers
Not yet but area will just dictate shape of display not dictate effect. In my mind display is like the rainbow I posted & thus takes a small area. Cheers
