Pretty straight and very solid, I have lots of small (and a few larger) project to do. First up is a clean out and clean up to see exactly what we have followed by a few drives to get out and enjoy. The idea is to only start small projects that can be completed relatively quickly to keep him on the road. If/when I find anything major I'll asses it then.

Looks like a nice solid project. So where's the 356?

Cheers all. The 356 cabriolet is safely in the garage behind Rex. The coupe is in bits in storage at the moment. Dammit.

The first bits arrived from The Bus Stop today. "Eyebrows", side mirrors, some clips and a lockable filler cap.

Looks so much better with the white grill and bumper - bit of bling will also look good.

Then bling it is. I just went to Service SA and picked up the new plates. I hate to say it but with the white and the eyelashes Rex might be a "girl"....

Nah, Rex was a ahead of his time and definitely in touch with his feminine side. Sounds like a very nicely balanced kombi personality to me ;)

image.jpeg Some progress with Rex. Bumpers and grill repainted, roof rack sourced (and painted), new mirrors, new aerial, eyelashes, and of course new number plates. Only a few more outside jobs before I start on the interior. Big thanks to the guys at GHR Motors for making him purr again this week as well as fixing the gear change issues.
