Good to see it's back to the reliable, old school, easy to fix T3 type version.

    I don't think we needed the T5 one......:p

Thanks to all for their attempts to make KC better but this works for me.

Had to add all warm and fuzzy with KC working for me. Or is it the half glass of red?? Dont care. I like it!

The post duplication is still happening, not sure if that can be fixed but I'm happy to have the old system back. At least I can now access my messages again.

Post duplication is spasmodic and not sure why it happens - I did a long post this morning and it posted the reply twice so went back and deleted one.

Grantus seems to be our champion of double posts - see above

Thanks Bert! I had to champion at something.......

It is random as to when it happens, and I can't find anything to link a reason as to why it happens...

I'll go and delete the duplicate post that I didn't notice, coz it's on a different page....

Not sure if this happens to anyone else but when I do a google search eg. Kombi rock and roll bed, and go to click on a link to go to a direct thread it takes me straight to the main kombi club page instead of directly to the thread. Doesn't happen to all searches but just a quick thing I noticed. Not sure if it's your end or google, but just thought I would mention it.

As far as the spammers, on another forum where I'm part of the admin team the first 3 posts must be verified by a member of the admin team before it will appear on the forum. That has weeded out the spammers over there and new members seem to understand when we explain why

Our set up is different - when they apply to be a member here - which they have to do before posting anything and seeing all of the forum - I check them out and either approve or delete. If someone is genuine but uses an ID that looks like a spammer, or their location is suss and their email address looks suss too, then sometimes they get deleted by mistake.

As a newbie I asked a question and then went back a few days later to and couldn't find it lol at least I know what happened.

Great forum, keep up the great work.

^^....yes there were a number of posts that couldn't be rolled back....
The "upgrade" permited rolling old posts forward, but any posts on the new format cannot be rolled back.

Double posts happened to me if I was not patient enough. Usually with confusion when asked if I wanted to leave page.

Some of the Smileys have been lost in the roll back - can they be put back? Not that we have many to start with but people still like to use them and posts where they were now have an x in a square :p

Slightly different terminology in this forum:

'Leaving a conversation will remove it from your conversation list.' So you should see the option 'Leave Conversation'

    I hope this helps!
