Its got a full ported 20B Ding.
looks like a great turn out, just noticed that the blue low light with rack, chrome bumpers and spottys is Ray our old grey bay.
looking good too, was wondering where the old boy was.
Cheers fellas for that clarification. Just one fine, interesting picture among many from another fun-looking event.

The quote of the day was by Royce when Mr Whippy parked right alongside his caravan.
Royce and Andrew have 5 children and he turned to us and said 'bloody hell I hope he takes credit cards'
Mr Whippy sure knew where to park.
Did anyone find out if Mr. Whippy took credit cards?
Royce made a couple of other quotes but I'm not sure they're fit for a family forum.
My daughter and son were in the Kombi Kram !!! They're still talking about.
And both jumped for joy when they saw a pic of themselves waiting in line before they kramed into the Kombi !!!
PS We only had to pull over once just out of Taree when the something went wrong with the fuel line or electronic fuel pump. Started up a few minutes later and we made it safely back to Sydney. Can't wait to do it again next year !!! ie Go to the RTTS next year that is.
For those who would like to see more of the Rice burner.
Aaron is the owner of this awesome "rice burner" kombi
& a great guy as well...
Shay & I had a chat with him there...they both were comparing notes on the finer points of "Mazda"
Ha! Classic. Hope he has enough change left over for these.

I would like to get in contact with the owner of Ruby if possible . Looks like a good weekend we missed .
Aaron is a top bloke and I have known him for a long time now. He loves his Vw's but also knows waaay too much about rotaries and how to make them go fast. I will say it here that his Kombi pictured above is prolly the fastest Kombi in Australia and perhaps the world!! 715hp at the rear wheels do I hear any takers for a wild ride!! Has anybody got any pics of his wife's orange squareback with the 13B turbo in it with modified Kombi auto?? Another amazing creation from Aaron's garage.....
Only 715Hp? Lame-o.
But seriously, that is a good lookin donk. Not only the fastest Kombi but one of the meanest lookin', too. I notice he has some kind of side-safaris? Cool.
