Glad you all had a good time. The heat sure was a killer by all accounts. Hey, you can't pick the weather, can you?

Thanks for all of the photos. Makes me feel like I was there. :D

Have you heard a hot rotary run? It sounds like they are at the peak RPM and then just keep going!!! What a Kombi and the work looks so sanitary and so well thought out. Good job Aaron. No that is a FANTASTIC job Aaron!!!!! I would go for a ride in that in any time!

Cetainly is our big boy. Seems to be Ray the Blue Bay these days, spot him from a mile away. Isn't it funny how you can still spot them!

That lowie was parked diagonal from me and it kept grabbing my attention but never got over to it or other cars as kept getting cornered.

This is awesome, I can't believe I'm saying this about a non stock bus, But then the idea of leaving everyone for dead is dead set awesome! I'd love one of these in a sleeper.....

Thanks for the pic Don. i was beginning to think we hadnt travelled 2600kms in 8 days, although my sore back, head and suntanned right arm tell me different. Although i did see a glimpse of the T5 and van in one of Glen's pics.

We had a blast, and thanks to everyone who made us feel so welcome, being southerners. And to all the friends we caught up with along the way and shared stories, food and houses with, a huge thankyou. We are definately going again. The cars were awesome and I picked up a few treasured rare toys and a great set of luggage for Bonita for $20! How good was that. Made Andrew feel better about the cost of the toys, mugs, shirts, and other little bits and pieces.

Hope to see you all again real soon.
