Hi guys .....nice event. Nicer cars !

Herbie was leaving as I arrived
this was kool...
LOVE this !
.....and I forgot to shoot the back of it
I want this ! )
this was my pick..nice
Love your pics Q..all beautifully captured.
Everyone in this photo is called John Davis
Thought you would have gone for the red late bay 'panel' seamless bog job for 34k
yeah, the $34k late bay was my pick for sure... 'seamless restoration' is an honest description. But seriously, I hope noone gets ripped off.
28k ..restored by al
The split that he's done was even better in the flesh than the photos. Never afford one but a beautiful example of what can be done when you want to do something properly.
nice to see.
Think Leanne[yogi] has some shots of the bays etc that were done by the trimer beside Al. hopefuly she will post some. Liked the clean interior of the green and cream bay. very simple rock and roll with cabinet for a fridge. Simple and elegant option for a daily thats ready for w/e away without loosing space like a normal camper setup. Also some beautiful triming without bling. Nice.
Nice job .....and car shows are by their very nature, are the hardest thing to shoot.
Something I have found over the years, is break the rules with your photography when it comes to car shows.
Open that aperture up, and shorten that depth of field.
Everything is the background is usually messy & distracting !
...needs a wash !
Thanks for the tip Q.
I am starting to get some good advice. Went to photograph the story bridge last night and got chatting to a lady there. She gave me some great tips for night shots, and I am really happy with how some of them turned out. It is great taking photos that don;t need to be changed on the computer.
How much did they want for the silver KG ?
