Good to see you out and about , doesnt matter what sort of wheels you got ,so long as you are enjoying yourself.

Good to see you all enjoying yourselves. watch out for those flamen roo,s though .lol
Love the photos ,keep them coming
Set up in Alice for next 7 days, then Geoff and Irene will head towards QLD and we will head to Darwin
The natives have arrived now
Simple setup at Melrose, SA on the long weekend
Hi Hayden ,
good to see you out and about enjoying what kombies are all about .Never know may catch up on our travels sometime.
Thanks mate, yes hope to see you out and about one day. we did see 2 other kombis up at Melrose that weekend! Kye from Mylor in a twin cab bay, and a single cab 55 from Jamestown! Very cool.
yep great stuff .
Its good to see some other South Aussies hitting the computer keys and making some posts , i know that there are plenty of Kombi owners out there in beautiful Sth Aust but they dont seem to want to share there experiences with us. so if you know of any tell them we are always interested to hear their stories. If you see them again ask if they are members of the KC Club,if not join ,It does not cost anything to be a member and the benefits are enormous .
Cheers Mate ,
Quick update, we left Alice on Monday a couple hours before Geoff and Irene, we were meant to catch up and stay at barrow creek. There were no working ammenities so they don’t do camping any more. Tried to ring Geoff but he hasn’t got very good supplier. I sent him heaps of messages to let them know we went on to tenant creek, 500 plus day. They were going over to QLD from three ways. He just rang me and they are in mt iza, we are in Katherine, his planning to go to Telstra shop tomoz, their plans changed and they are now going to Townsville and we are heading up to Darwin.he said barrow creek looked scary, I said yes the falconie murder etc was in that area.
Is Geoff and Irene aiming at being at Berry on the NSW south coast by Sunday week?
We are now set up in Darwin
Hi brian ,great to see you both having a ball and seeing the country side,I see the Toybus is running well which is great, and being a Toyota you would expect nothing less .Keep sending photos down the line, love to see where your travells take you.
We went back to Upper Colo for a winter camp with Stanley and he got a pass
A couple of growls here and there with passing campers
On Saturday night he wasnt too sure what to do around a camp fire and kept trying to jsut sit on Lea's lap
By Sunday morning he got it that you just lay on the mat
He also got to meet some other strange animals
....and now he knows the joys of camping/campfires....you’ll have a companion on every trip .
Lanis allows fire pits now, as long as they are elevated and don’t scorch the grass....OldBar is coming up quickly !
Spent many a weekend away camping in the Colo, as a late teen when living in Sydney. Great spot!
And I own one of those elevated fire pits now!
