Hope you’ve already been to Prevally......?
I’m guessing you won’t get near the place now that the WSL juggernaut has rolled into town....

WOW...... were we wrong about a quiet weekend.

There was a band playing there..... the Settlers

but they were part of a bunch of miss-fits called the "jammin' campers"

It's a FB group that seeks out country pubs with free camps besides them

This went on till about 3:00 am on Friday and Saturday nights

"Normally" I would get up and give someone a gob full if they were playing music at 3:00 am but this was wonderful - plus I was up in there with them. (not till 3:00 - passed in beforehand)
There was even a one armed guy playing the guitar. lost his right arm below the elbow - so just somehow attached a plectrum to the stump.
Mainly early bush music but such a weird weekend to stumble upon.
    Some VERY different people........................

Couple of nice camping spots over the weekend.
Free camping at Notch Point, south opf Sarina. Had a great spot till the wind came up and blew us inland.
Ended up at Moonlight Dam. Only ones there so very quiet. 5km walk the next day to Mt Britten. An old Gold mining town.
Driving home watching the fuel gauge get down past the orange 'don't go there mark'. Was going to take a dirt road shortcut of about 100km because had only driven about 380km. Car slowed to a stop at the Bruce hwy about a kay from a servo. Had to buy a tin to put the fuel in. Back to the servo to fill up and could only get 69ltrs in. Looks like last fill wasn't enough.
