    Hey all,

My partner has loved VWs her whole life after growing up with them in her family, and after a trip to Byron Bay last year for a wedding my love for Kombis also grew!

So i sold my old Sigma and put one of my bikes up for sale and I started saving and hunting for our own!

I didn't realise how much they were selling for and soon realised for something with good paint and body and a reliable motor I'd be looking at around 20-25k...

I searched Carsales every couple days and couldn't find anything that I liked and that fitted my budget until I looked on Gumtree and came across 'SNO'.

It had been painted with alot of bodywork done within the past 2 years and the motor had been reconditioned in the past 5 years!

We went and checked it out and before you know it, a deposit was handed over subject to a full mechanical inspection and the remainder of the finance!

GHR Auto did the check and it all come back good with a few small issues to fix!

We ended up getting it for 16k knowing that the interior had to be done and a few small mechanical issues to fix!

Assuming all is good under the paint you have done well.
Normal for some mechanical needing sorted in anything up to 25ish.
Looks nice so over the hump and ready to do the fun bits.
    Enjoy the cruise :)

Exterior wise there was the bit of rust under the front window, aswell as the rh rear guard and a few other small bits!

Mechanical wise was fuel lines, ball joints, window mechanism, gearbox bush but nothing major!

Interior needs front seats trimmed and repadded, floor surface rust removal and repaint and all new trim panels, rear r&r bed and roof lining!

But it was the previous owner's daily driver for 7 years so it's more than reliable!

Being a daily driver is usualy a good option over ' projects' or shiny flipped busses.
Would pay to address the rust quickly. Especially under windscreen.
    Good bus.

Everything seems pretty good as it was only painted a couple years ago!

I've got a spray painter and panel beater working on the interior at the moment so I'll get them to have a good look over it!

Looks pretty good from what we can see.

And while there is no interior get some rust protection in there
