    Interesting stuff, would be good to see results of some of the aftermarket svda's that are available...

    Could be quite amusing.
    A check of a few chinese SVDA I've done just with timing light have backed up the relay poor running symptoms by showing VERY irregular advance movements.
    Sticky and all over the place.
    Rebuilding with new bushes ( some wear very rapidly) and dual springs can make them workable.
    Still prefer an original rebuilt.

    Ha. Bit that way myself as that's only one of a weeks trawling through university papers on LPG engine studies.
    Then assessing what to do on the dissy without a dyno.
    About to do a test run :D
