I have all the bits. I purchased a Samba Kit from Grumpy's in California.
We will see very soon how it all pieces together..

Looks a pretty well sorted kit so far.
A rum down of impressions or any difficulties once done would be good for anyone considering plus us armchair punters.

    Cheers

Prefer to clean glass in a kombi (T1, T2 0r T3) especially the front and rear windows than any other car :p:D:(

Some progress, the pictures attached show the front skylight windows welded in place and the 5th window (yes i am adding an extra row of skylights, a 25 window Samba) has been roughed in. Expecting the fabrication work to be complete this week, then into bodyshop for prep next week, hopefully some paint at some point first week of May.

I have not seen a popout skylight before.
I'll have plenty of airflow with the front Safaris and new enormous Sunroof, It'll be like a NASA windtunnel on super slow speed.

All the images seen about the five windows on the roof couldn't fully envision how it looks aesthetics wise,o_Obut seeing the last photos does the work and result justice and worth doing in my opinion. If they did pop outs you needed to full it up with red bull to give you wings.o_O:rolleyes:
