Spud came home to the Sunny Coast from brisbane more than a year ago - and has been used as work bench for restoring a pop top and a storage shed for VW parts
Tim Johnston had a new shed built in Nambour so it was time SPud got some much needed attention

Spud looked like this when he arrived

Great to see you posting again Glen, I was wondering what was happening with Spud. Look forward to seeing his resto pics.

Nice one Glen. I can see who's been entertaining herself by painting her initials on the side of Spud. Or else maybe the boys did it to try and get her into trouble?!

Naturally with Tim doing the work, it will be fantastic!

Spud got another day in surgery today and Tim seems to be working well towards finding what needs fixing (all panels by the looks of it - as expected)
Tim has rust converted and primed the sections cleared of paint and bog last week to protect it

seems like alot of the bog under the paint was covering dings rather than rust holes - which i think is cool
