stolen ute aka Wilfred

    sunshine coast crew keep an eye out for brewmasters ute on a tilt tray.

    been removed from outside his place at 6.30 this evening.

    from ninderry[yandina] headed to bruce hwy. possibly heading noosa or nambour or further afeild [bris,england?]

    if anyone does see it report to police. its reported stolen. Have checked all possibilities .
    was seen loaded on tilt tray

    my phone is not getting reception tonite as is common with telstra in this area.

    Seems no amount of imobilising technology would stop a Kombi being stolen with a tilt tray....:(

    Mrs Grantus has suggested a hidden GPS sender may be the only safe way to track a Kombi after it is stolen - food for thought:rolleyes:

    Hoping for a safe return Brett. Nasty situation! :cry:

    It has been reported to the Police and I am waiting on a visit to give a statement.

    • Single Cab Kombi Ute
    • 1974
    • Primer Grey but originally VW Flipper Blue
    • runs on LPG ..... no Dual fuel
    • lowered 4 "
    • 15" Radar Wheels
    • Black with white piping rebuilt and reupholstered bench and driver's seat

    ....... people who have taken Wilfred don't have the keys and can't start it unless they know all the tricks ......... such a cantankerous mongrel is Wilfred ................ also on LPG ...... no dual fuel .........
