We had a great night camping at Sue's Bridge, on Sue's Road, in the South West, just off the Brockman highway between Nannup and Bridgetown. The sites are just 100m or so above the Blackwood river. CALM have clearly only just finished doing it all up, and I must say it was grand. We had the entire place to ourselves. But if it were full, the sites are partitioned by shrubs, and surrounded by tall gums (Marri, Karri, or another similarly named one of the WestAussie trees). Firewood is supplied. Dunnies dont stink (!), each site has its own fireplace and picnic table, and there's plenty of swimming in the river. There's no power, obviously, and all you have to worry about is the sneaky kookaburras.
Anytown ending in 'up' and anything to do with 'CALM' would place it in 'WA' somewhere wouldn't it? Yep bridgetown and Nannup are in the Margert river region of WA! Thanks whereis!
