Got the 8 ft 7S Randal in a quad fin set up. Great board.

Are you looking at getting it from Beachbeat? Jamie the Global Surf Industries rep used to work there so often brings in the demo models at a good price. Got my 7S for almost half price.

Sparkie should give you a good deal ...... local discount and regular customer........

    Cheers

I bought the exact board, through the Sea Shepherd Website. Took roughly 4 weeks to get it in, I normally like to buy aussie boards but couldnt resist this one with 20% of the sale going to Sea Shepherd.

Got it posted to my door step, took it out for the first time a couple of weeks ago and mistakingly set it up as a thruster, it comes with 5 fins to set it up as a thruster or a quad. It would surf heaps better as a quad so i changed it over and hope to give it another crack tomorrow.

ahah yew. Criminology, wow, that would be full on! but really interesting!! I was thinking of maybe doing environmental forensic's. Is criminology like psychology configuration of how crimes happened? or the person themselfs?

Went down to Byron on Sunday, for a drive and a swim, surf not great though, parked the kombi next to a black X5 BMW with a bloke and his wife and kids down for a surf, thought he looked familiar. when he came back from giving his kids a surf lesson, recognised him as Mark Occhilupo. Nice guy, had a chat and not a bad surf teacher to have if you are a kid!

The white stuff in the foreground is not sea foam ......... it's snow!!!
No wonder they wear dry suits.
One way to make sure you get uncrowded surf.

Left the Goldy at 3am on the morning of dubs at the pie and headed for a wave up the Sunny coast. Found a few nice beachies just up the beach from Alex.. Not much swell on offer but thats fine when my wepon of choice was a 9'6" Scott Dillon D-fin.

Gotta love riding the old log.

Back from my first holiday in Hawaii, went to Kauaii and Oahu. Scored some great waves, pretty gnarly though. Here's a couple of shots. Check kombi spotting thread for the buses we saw. Nick[IMG][/IMG]
