It was a normal day after work, where you do you normal thing when driving home. As approaching a round about near work a 72 kombi turned left out off a waste management center. I also have to go the same way as the kombi. I notice he had to stop second from the lights down the road. I then stopped short long side him and to have a kombi chat. Long and behold it is a KC member that is local and never seen the kombi or the owner but he is a new member from March 2018. Have messaged on is welcome thread in new members. Also having the same Name and a 72 kombi what more excitement you can have on the way home from work. Thanks @wayne grant. That's my kombi story for the day:D:D:cool:

    I posted this ages ago.
In 1982 l was a vinyl welder in Adelaide. At the time there was only 2 proper dealerships l think. Lannocks and Blackwood.
I drove into the joint, Blackwood Cars, and saw my very 1st car, a 1964 Microbus, RUW 808. I was in a 1974 Campervan; no poptop. I said to the bloke l use to own it. I put it on two wheels going around a car park corner way faster than l should have. About fitting 17 high school kids in it when l was 16. Driving it to Murray Bridge with no brakes and back again; inc Devil's Elbow.
I then went around the back and started work on the Audi dash and a fella comes up to me, 20 minutes after the other bloke leavez, and asks if the Bay is mine?. I said yes and he proceeds to tell me about what he did to when he owned it. He was pretty boring; nothing outrageous.

    That was some coincidence!
