Well, today marked the start of a new chapter in my life and the start of a new journey for Zippy. He has gone to a great new home in Canberra.

Have to admit to having tears in my eyes as he drove off.
I will be Kombiless for a few months until my resto is complete but the consolation is that my mate has lent me his superbug to potter around in in the meantime.

Need to start thinking about a new username....

Was it a KC member, or even a "will be a KC member" you sold it to?

I'll keep an eye out for it, on the local roads...:)

Hey Grant - yes, keep an eye open for it down there - it will be 'living' in Deakin.
The guy knows about the KC but I guess will be up to him whether he joins up..

Yep...moved on and spent some of the money wisely on the final load of point needed for the restoration. Also bought a couple more gadgets for it which I'm pleased about.

Commiserations ..... however, what is a sad parting for you is a joyous beginning for the new owner! :)

Looking forward to seeing your resto project on the road....
