Just had a look online (Gumtree & Carsales) and found evidence that T3 prices are well and truly on the move upwards and sharply.
    Caravelle C $24,950
    Syncro Westfailia copy $37,000
    Syncro DOKA $35,000
    Transporter High Top camper $16,500
    TRAKKA Syncro $38,990
    Air Cooled Caravelle $22,000
    Plenty more around $10k
Not saying they will get the price asked but hey this seems to be what is asked for anything decent and recent sales that I know of especially DOKA or SINKA being sold within hours of days after coming on the market for real strong prices.

Just as Bay's are the choice if you haven't got the $$ to have a Split, T3's have become go to if you haven't the $$ to have a Bay, or if you think you need a but more comfort in your life....

I have the urge to say cheaeper to maintain but I feel that could be wildly inaccurate!

Thanks Phil for the research. Sounds good for all us T3 owners but like you say they can ask and what do they really sell for?

I better find my Caravelle before they go up anymore.

To save that huge hole, (and a waste of a T3), I’ve decided to be transported to the crematorium in the back of the SC, when the time comes.....

Unless it’s raining, then they can use the Velle..;)

Only 7 T3 SC syncro’s were ever imported and sold by VW Australia.......so the syncro T3 SC is a rare beast indeed.

How many of those 7 are still around, and not been scrapped, is an unknown.

There was a sc syncro sold on gumtree from a farmer in Nsw asking price $4000. Could not get on the phone fast enough. No idea who got it. Not me sadly.last year or early this year.

What colour was that one? and did you save any photo's? was it north, south or west NSW. I have come across 5 SC Syncro sales over the last 7 years and ranges from the 4k to the 35K I am unsure if they got the 35K

I have never really understood the prices of syncros while I secretly want one. I imagine there is going to be even more expense and time spent under it. maybe that is the appeal of a decent one
