I have been informed a SC sold for 33K a few weeks ago.
Wasn’t mine.......it’s still here!
Did you call the guy with the sunroof kombi any feedback.
Have a lead on a 1985 CaravelleGL factory metal wind back sunroof van that will be for sale shortly. Fantastic condition inside and out as well as renovated suspention brakes etc. Best part is it has a 2.5 Oettinger motor with twin webers, goes real well, like real well
OK, I’ll take it off their hands, and free up some valuable storage space for them...........even donate $1800 for the task of me doing so.
mmm I believe that might be about $$23,200 short. Hey its not mine but I would love to have it now
Oh....you mean it actually goes?
So no car trailer hire required to take it off their hands?
With the 2.5 Oettinger it goes alright
Sounds schweet and I bet it goes
Would be interested to hear. This same bus was advertised 4 or 5 years ago by the same seller using same words and same pics. Back then he only wanted $4,200 (or something like that). Guess its been sitting for a very long time and might just continue to sit for a bit longer.
I like it, and it's all German to boot. Any idea how many litres per kilometre?
I have been told that it gets slightly better than stock 2.1 due to the twin webbers.
Certainly be climbing at a rate of knots over the last 12 months. As always good for those of us that have them not so good for those looking to buy into them.
Gotta say I move my T3s
Have spotted a few very nicely kept t3s lately coming up for sale must be a change of generations not many youngsters could afford a new one
What is a T3 DOKA worth?
I just spotted my old DOKA for sale on Carsales for wait for it $49,995 thats a $30k mark up
At that price it should have been a 'keeper' Phil & despite the hype of attaching price rises to splitties I reckon there's a bit more time in getting to that figure. But it sure looks neat & is a credit to you.
Love the ad....and wonder if i’ve Done the right thing with Oldman on Sunday?
Quote from the ad:
“Theres a saying that goes, if anyone ever offers you a drive of their T3 - take them up on it. Be warned though - you might not want to give it back and its true.”
In my opinion not that much. I actually looked at purchasing this DOKA around a year ago for approximately $15k less. I decided that it was overpriced at $35k so the advertised price seems a little extreme to me.
Good luck to him though.
The Recaro's have gone
It's in pretty good company at the Classic Throttle Shop though
Like all my vans I keep them till they cease to do what I want of them at the time. soon will be moving on from the yellow van to the high top. It will be a camper with a twist
