    Hi All
I have a contact in NSW who is seriously considering offering for sale T3 Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kits. The kit will use all T4 compatible rear disc components so parts and reliability will be there. He has had a set on his T3 for many years and has found them reliable. The hand brake is also fully functional which has been a problem with other conversions. I dont have pricing yet however the kits will probably come in various configurations ie just the brackets or a full kit including hubs and calipers and discs. Will fit 14" rims as well.
If you would be interested then can you PM me so I can gauge interest and pass on to my contact . I will be up for at least 1 set possibly 2 so have a think.
Please note I have NO financial interest in this venture at all.

John's are not based on T4 parts. The biggest problem with kits is they are made up of a bit of this and a bit of that. The kit above will be all T4 stock so easy to get parts and work done. Can people please NOT turn this into a debate about rear disk brake conversions that are out there, it is meant to be an expression of interest in bringing to market a T4 based kit.

    Id be very keen Phil.....

As long as they fit a syncro??

Not a fan of the Sherman ones - the handbrake leaves a lot to be desired.

I have the Smallcar conversion on my T3 and as Scotty said the handbrake is only just adequate, this T4 package looks the deal, will be interested and might fit it when I see and try it in the flesh.

Interested, do you need to machine down the drive flange? Are the discs thicker?(does it affect stud length?)

Yes drive flange needs to be machines a very small amount as do all other conversions. Not sure of the other answers yet, I am not producing the kit only gathering interest which has been very good so far.
Will put you down on the mailing list for advice when I have concrete details. As I said in the opening post, I have NO financial interest in this however am very keen to get a kit for my van.
