Hi , has anyone mounted a TV aerial on a kombi or do you use a free standing mast ? Show me what you have :)

I know Steve - MIlly - always has a big-screen at Old Bar for the football grand final……I think that aerial is a free standing one though…

I had an aerial which I just sat up top when using a tv, just fed it through gap in the window and put it away when I wasn't using it

We used a "happy wanderer" antenna, 12v signal booster and mounted it on the largest extendable painters pole i could find. We would strap this to the bull bar when camped. Worked a treat.

This is our effort, 25mm alloy tube, fits into socket on spare tyre carrier, adapted painters pole coupling to attach antenna.

The carrier is not standard, this one is from Rocky Mountain Westy (USA)

Bought a Saturn travellers mate. Made in rainbow beach qld. Has a small mounting bracket that I fixed to the pop top that I slot the aerial into.
