What have I done Brad. I've gone from hating them to having 5 in less than 9 months.
I sold 4 bugs and a three car garage full of air cooled stuff a few years back figure the guy that got it all is on here somewhere nice guy too.
Dad's as hooked as I am............
and they're in..........
Hard to tell in the pic, but it has lifted it 3in
Plus another of Dad's T3, just so he doesn't feel left out........
Looks great Rhet....a bit taller in the back with the new syncro springs? How much taller did it go?
Your Dad's T3 Trakka wedge aircooled camper looks great - looks like a keeper from that smile!
Nothing is ever classed as a keeper
Hard to tell in the pics but it has come up 70mm.
Thats an awesome 'shed'.
Goodluck with the wedge project and keep those pic's flowing
New rims and tyres today, 15x6in rims with 235/75r15s....
Very very happy with the new stance!!
Rear has come up 105mm from stock, haven't done the front springs yet.
BUT I still want to see a piccie of that bulkhead inside, to see if I can help out with a seat from a SC.
I know I know, Every time I head to the shed I think of it on the way and once I get there I forget.
But I can tell you it once had 2/3rd seat in there as one of the brackets are still there, the inboard one has been removed. I will try to remember to get some pics on Thursday.
A few daylight pics.......
Just for comparison.........
You look like you're halfway there, with the brackets!
I'll try and upload some pics for you later tonight....
interested to see how long the cv's last
hows gearing feel? first still ok on slow hilly fire trails?
The other bracket required on the other side, for a double passenger seat........
Excellent, if you could measure it up for me when the time comes, I would really appreciate it
I think a 2/3 passenger seat will slide right in there. The inner slider on the 2/3 seat itself is midway under the seat. So you can have a single seat or a double if you have a bulkhead which I'm guessing was standard on commercials.
Yep! He just needs to refit the missing RH side bracket...
Is the RH bracket still there, beside the driver's seat?
Can't actually tell in the photo....
