    image.jpeg Hi guys!

I just bought a new rnr bed and now need the 5 pieces of foam upholstered. I'm in the Redland and am happy to travel a bit, Gold Coast/sunshine coast ect. Any recommendations for upholstered places with good dollar value?

    Cheers guys image.jpeg

Another vote for Mick at Performance Upholstery, he's now up near Bribie, great bloke, does a great job, did my entire Kombi, could't have been better.

It all depend on what you want. Give him a bell and he does up proper quotes.
To give you an idea I think my seats were about $2-2.5k. But that was with $600 of coconut seat pads and a more expensive vinyl then most (TMI off the roll) plus other padding and some extra springs.
That was seating for 8 the rear one being the rock and roll with a mattress and kick panel as well.
Just got the quote for my door cards and headliner and it was good too. that is what I am doing next.

If your in the Redlands, I wouldn`t go past Advil in Smith St Capalaba - big time into resto work -classics and I have been there when there was a Kombi in for a full fit out. Drop in - Dave is a good bloke -even if he is a Pom:)

I would say, go to spotlight, buy a sewing machine and do it yourself. VERY basic sewing in these block pieces. Fabric is cheap and practicing on cheap cloth costs next to nothing. You have some of the best resource material on you tube and the skills would be re-usable for curtains and more.
