And this afternoon we had a bit of a gathering under the KC banner....
Wow, looks like there was a heap of T3's and T4's there. Pleased to hear that the weather was fine this time. I spoke to Michelle today and she was having a ball.
Can't wait to see more pics...Lorraine
I had to leave at 3PM so I could check out the caravan parks for Easter next year. Sorry if I didnt get to say goodbye to everyone but it was great to see you all again.
Can anyone tell me if the person I was looking for, came out of hiding after I left????
My mechanic attempts to convince me every time he sees me going on a trip to STOP using the roofrack. He thinks they are terrible for Kombis and would...quote..."prefer to see a trailer any day of the week before a roof rack!!!!!!". He hates them, says they present all sorts of unnecessary pressure on aerodynamics and thus engine.
Just thought I'd share his view.
Back to the real topic, WOW, great pics - looks brilliant!!

Just returned from a fantastic weekend at Valla.
My god there are some beautiful units out there (the vans of course! )
It was great to catch up with some friends and equally great to meet some new ones.
I look forward to sharing a brew with you all again soon.
Hopefully we will be allowed fires at Old Bar!
There was a problem with their fuel pump - it was quite funny. We hadn't long left Coffs Harbour and then Craig and I came across Lynne and Paul. We stopped but were hopelessly inept with mechanical advice, and then Rackie and Damo stopped and then I waved down Bob and Ash. We had a collection of about 10 VWs on the side of the road - it was excellent to see such assistance - Glen (Glowy) even polished Rackie's chrome for an hour or so just to while away the time. Was great, and Lynne and Cornish got up and running about an hour later.
That could possibly be the most horrible photo of me taken forever. For everyone's benefit, I was eating tinned fruit!
Thanks for photos Mel and Lorraine.
I could actually say you were demonstrating how much you SNORE! ...... But I wont!
(sound file to follow...:lol

This was our first trip to Valla and most definitely wont be our last.
Thank you to everyone that we spent the weekend with there was so many highlights its hard to put it into words.
I believe on the Saturday we had a line up of over 400 VW's of varies shapes and sizes. It was hard to work out where to point the camera next.
