    Its great.

    Keeps the mother-in-law well away!

    Thanks for the kind comments.

    Cheers,

    Thanks again.

I thought my competition was thin with only 5 T3's in the competition that I could see but in 1988 it would have been a little less.

    Cheers,

Well I had a good close up inspection of your bus......

And might I say, absolutely awesome!:)

    Glad it won.

    Pity I didn't get to put a "face to a username". :(

(And I did check out the running bars, and they are a great blend, and suit the Syncro beautifully!)

Kelly (my co-driver) and I had a great time (even if it was a massive drive for us!) at the Nationals, and I'll probably be there next year again. It's a great excuse for me to go to Sydney to catch up with my mates as well.

You're very welcome Robert. I was a bit worried about handing over Nick's Nuts, but he was quite all right about it. Lovely to meet Emma and your kiddies too.

Shame you couldn't make it Baz - I have friends who have vans up at Wisemans. do you know the Bartley's by any chance?

Thanks Royce and Andrew (and anyone else on here) for the shirts that you bought. My mum said the highlight of the day was seeing you and your lovely family again. And at least she now knows the difference between a Kombi and a Beetle.

Was great to meet Robert, Kai, Don, Nathan, Mark, Brenden, Miss Leah and T1 Terry who I've only ever spoken to on here. Always great to see the other KCers of course too!

My favourites of the day were the gun metal grey Beetle (slobber, slobber) and the two delectable red Split panels. I notice one of them belonged to the Beer Doc. Gorgeous!

Unfortunately, I missed out on seeing a lot of the others in the flesh 'cos I was on my stand nearly all day, but I did get to see some of them when they were driving in. thanks to you all for your amazing photos - feel like I really did get to see a lot of them.

    Thanks Grant.

I really appreciate your feeback as you are the T3 master (well other than Phill).

    Cheers,

There's a thread in the Member Rides forum now.....

I'm just a T3 tragic, and I think Phil has probably forgotten more than I know, and he doesn't forget much! ;)

But your bus did stand out to me at Old Bar last year, and even more so now, with that pop top. You must be well pleased with the result. :)

I have always loved my bus - probably a bit more than my wife would like.

Then I found all the other kombi nuts and things sort of bloomed from there.

I would say I will have another 2 kombis before I am 40. Just completely addicted now.

    Cheers,

Here's a couple of shots from The Nats. Most of the others would only mimic what's already been posted.
