Well folks, what can I say except VW Nationals was a terrific day!
It started with a great convoy down from Newcastle where we picked up the Central Coasters to hit Sydney with over 20 Kombis. Met up with some old Kombi friends and quite a few new ones as well,...it was great to see you all.
And the VW's - phew, talk about variety! Every single one was interesting and special in its own way.
A few photos below. John

Hey John - its not letting us look at your photobucket link.
Sorry I didn't get to meet any of you but was on a tight schedule.took my lunch break early and raced out there.work wasn't going to stop me from getting out there even if it was only for an hour or so.
thanks kombi surfer for getting a photo of my bus.
Congratulations Melissa, John and Brendon Well done
god i hate it when things dont go to plan !! - sorry i missed out on the konvoy down from newcastle guys , i had to make a hasty trip down solo . . . bummer . the konvoy pics look great ! i got stuck at a servo in sydney somewhere and it just so happened that there was a bunch of beetles there that told me to follow on . . . that was fun , 4 beetles and 1 kombi . . . should have been - no beetles and heaps of kombis !!!!!
don can vouch for my appearance - the bar was mighty quiet . . . hmmmm - not to worry , i had my little bro to look out for - that was cool , to see a little dude just as stoked as i was at all the kombi's ha ha . he couldnt get enough of em !
and sorry , i had no camera major drag huh ! - though i did enter in the ''daily driver'' category for somethin to do lol
