Great photos Judy, it was good to have a wave today we thought you were on your way home from Warrick. Glad to see you got to take Mercy and finally got to show him off.

These last years this has been on just gets bigger & bigger so who will guess in years to come how massive this event will get..
I was told people as far as Rocky & Mackay attended & Adelaide & Sydney came, so word has got around that this event is not to be missed...

Funny how big Fast Fours Willowbank got & it started as a VW only event....one can only gather years from now the size of VW Warwick will be
Such a friendly atmosphere there also...

All is required now I think is really big swap meet as many people were hoping there would be one there...as only a very few were selling anything....
But an excellent day none the less...congrats to Craig (VMA) for all the organizing he has done for this...

I don't want it too big - the aim is to keep it fun. Where the big events lose out is that competitors get limited track time. At Warwick this year, there were a record 469 passes on the Saturday alone! Some competitors managed 16+ passes of their own during qualifying. At Jamboree, you're not even guaranteed 4 passes should something go wrong with the racing....

Swap meet - I'll look into the promotion of it next year, but the focus of VW Warwick is all about the racing.

I'd like some help trying to track down the owner of a white and orange split window Kombi, rego: DUBISM, who won the Kombi Show'n'Shine but left before presentations. A contact number/email would be appreciated.

    Cheers
    Craig

Grrrrrrrrunt. My kids would call a few of those Beetles "grunt cars". :)

Great photos Jude - I especially love the one of Mercy outside the church. You should use that in your advertising.

did anyone we know win anything?

  20. Yep Bert she's back on the road!! With some new BBS 15x7's. Car has copped a bit of neglect sitting in my parents carport and my Mum hosing it all the time didn't help either!!

Car ran great all weekend and was 2nd quickest Kombi to Aaron's beast.(like nearly 5 seconds slower LOL) I got 9 runs in(spent a bit of time helping my brother,Rod Richardson & Peter Page) and then loaded my tool boxes and roll cab, jacks, fans and a heap of other crap back into it and then drove it home.

The only drama was losing my brake lights with some electrical gremlin. Haven't bothered to look any further into it yet just made room in my shed to get it in out of the weather.

Will prolly bring it down to the Goldy show in november.

anybody get any pics of my car on the line/strip?? bit hard to take pics and drive at the same time!!

    cheers
