One of the best remakes I've heard. Man he has some strength in that voice. Just added to my play list.

Disturbed do a pretty good version of Blue Oyster Cult’s Don’t Fear The Reaper.

My son was pretty pissed when I told him it was a cover and pulled out the old vinyl version

For those you like a strong male voice, this one is best served up with lotsa volume, far better than the original by Lynard Skynner

Went and seen "The Doors Alive" last night at the club. Any tribute band would be a hard act to deliver I reckon - especially someone like Jim Morrison but these guys from the UK pulled it off. I think it was their last gig in Oz but if your interested in The Doors - check em out on youtube. The singer had all the women eating out of his hands LOL

Sounds like it was a good gig. The Doors had some classics.

Listened to enough 6 o’clock rock as a kid to know a few Bert. :)
A late friend of mine used to say, “If you can tap your toes or sing along to it, it’s a good song!”
I don’t find a lot of the new commercial music appealing. No soul in it. ;)

Here's another offering from Dr Google. Initially thought these guys were the Ozark Mountain Daredevils re-incarnate or a band from the deep south. No, they are from Finland and have covered just about all the big names like Led Zeppelin, AC-DC, Iron Maiden, Guns and Roses, The Offspring, etc. This cover is from Metallica. Love it.
