I love em both. Courtney is brilliant.
Is this the only Dutch hit ever!?
Thank you Golden Earring!
Yes, Moontan was the album.....
These blokes are from Sydney and have some great surf / Kombi cruising music. Check em out.
Lime Cordiale - Up In The Air & Risky Love (Live from Studios301)
Hey Dan...........Oli and Louis Leimbach, Lime Cordiale are from Bilgola, mates of Ocean Alley.
I’m liking their latest “Screw Loose“
New program "The Sound" has been on @ 5.30pm Sundays for the past few weeks and it is featuring a lot of Aussie groups and had Lime Cordiale on 2 weeks back.
If you haven't seen The Sound then it's worth watching as bring something out of the Vault and also a tribute to a group or individual who has passed and gone to Rock 'n Roll Heaven.
Should be able to find previous weeks shows on iView
Makes sense. I was down that way a few weeks ago for work and spotted some "Lime Cordiale" graffiti on the back of a road sign. I went out to "Summer Bay" and did the walk up to the lighthouse. Great area. I spotted a Kombi parked there but it was gone when I returned so no photo.
That's my local.....could have been mine!
There's only a couple that get up here regularly.
Wattle in colour ?
May have been. I think it had personalised plates by memory?? Maybe ???72 or similar
Nah, not me then.....
.....but I know that bus....used to be owned by a member on here.
A lot of guitarists can play the guitar but none make you live in the song like Neil.
There can never be too much Susanna
One of my favourite bands... and one of my favourite female singers! Too cool!
Ninga.........Sydney weekender just did a good story on Tumut...........looks the goods .........haven’t heard from you in a while.........how are you Paul and the kids ?
My fave American Female singer.
We all know Dylan is a fabulous singer but he is also a great lyricist. My fave American Male singer
Terrible singer. Great lyricist. Still one of my favorites. Saw him on his last visit. Still could not sing but a living legend. Magic! Play Blood on the Tracks and still love it.
I've never heard anyone say it like that before.
"Dylan can't sing like Picasso can't paint."
I rarely like other people singing his songs. Most miss the essence of the songs. Bryan Ferry does good interpretations of his songs. George Harrison and ONJ do "If Not for You" well and Neil Young does a great version of "All Along the Watchtower"
Separate names with a comma.
