Footstool ,,,,,,fair dinkum ,its a flammin arm rest mate , lift the arm rest up and there is a small storage space , below the arm rest there is a pull out drawer and below that lift the lid and there is a map and road atless storage area,,,,,,,,, so foot stool , come otterman, or pouffe it aint, ita a arm rest.
But what if you are sitting on a camp chair in the rear, (or even a straight chair), facing forward, with your feet up between the front seats?
Your right Mark but unfortunately the spelling of the words are the same but its the interpretation and meaning of these words that are changing, so in today,s world it is not to hard to unintentionally upset or degrade some people without even realising what you have done . oh well i will wave to the populace with one arm while leaning on my ARMREST with the other, there you go Mark back on track . Y,all have a great weekend ,keep cool and dry
Bloody hell. ok ,Grantus you win , i will call it a footstool armrest drink holder storage cabinet . hows that
With engine out had a look at fuel tank and filler. Need to replace filler flange and other piece of filler hose. Filler flange easy but other bit? Where do I get?
You talking about the length of fuel hose arrowed - this looks like it should be the piece but shape & length wrong ..... https://www.justkampers.com.au/vw-t...5-d-fuel-filler-hose-vw-t2-bay-1972-1979.html
Know this states wrong year but seems more like what you need - https://www.justkampers.com.au/vw-t...125-fuel-filler-hose-vw-t2-bay-1967-1972.html
Failing all else contact Kai
Finally fitted new wiper blades, that I bought from Nils a while back...........and then it rained this afternoon.
WOW! They are awesome, and better than any blades I’ve had, including the ones that came with the bus when new!
Repacked the front bearings....and replaced a broken throttle return spring on the lh carb.
All is now as it should be......
Got the engine back in! A few days fiddling and then make some noise!
Make bigger noise - leave the exhaust off
Went to MAD day at Swansea - a few showers but then hot sunshine - nice day for a drive
Well today I removed the array of tools, car jacks, wood blocks, car stands, assorted misc stuff, and cleaned all the flat surfaces exposed. Gave all the bits and bobs, a good clean, emptied the crud from in the bottoms of the toolboxes and satisfied, put it back tidily.
Ahhhh the serenity.
Twas the day for the test run o the new engine!
Hope the test run was a success and everything run smoothly as it should.
And did you find stuff that you had forgotten about, or thought you had lost or thought somebody had nicked........
My policy for finding lost stuff,,,,,,, look in the last place first and thats where you will usually find it .
Separate names with a comma.
