What did you do to your Kombi today?

    Just picked my first kombi up two days ago so today I pulled all of the mats out, gave it a wash (inside and out) and discovered some rust :)

    yeah i kinda forgot what everything looks like ! . . .

    yeah a week after we got back from our honeymoon we bought our first home ! - so just been busy with that the past couple of months . besides , i missed you all :p

    when i logged on i went into the whats new section and there was like 30 pages ! ha ha

    back to what i do , trawl this site and make a nusance of myself :D

    I was given a set of r'n'r bed retaining pins - the spring loaded type - Yeeha !! & I thought rocking horse poop was hard to come by.......

    New Subi harmonic balancer arrived from the US today, had to get the young bloke next door to torque up the crankshaft bolt (120Nm) my body just dosn't have enough "mumbo" these days. :umm:

    Turned on the in dash push button Clairion cassette deck with seperate booster and equalizer full ball - it's still got it !

    Drove over to roof racks galore for a bit of research on a rack plan i am hatching. Saw no kombis to wave at. :umm: Making a little on dash tray to put stuff in like wallet, other keys, phone and the like. i will post some photos tomorrow.

    Justin....so pleased to see that there is life after marriage. I had assumed that your bride was doing as all determined wives do...removing any and all subversive influences and making you a better man ( for her that is ).     repaired the R&R bed, refitted the tinware underneath, installed a BIGGER fire extinguisher and gave the inside a clean.
