    Thanks Geoff, the doc has said that it has a lot to do with iron deficiency probably caused by the big op that i had and now me not eating as i should be, but thats all going to change now do the pop eye thing eat more spinach

    Bloody he’ll Chris, that not good thing to do mate, hope you are ok old son. I as you mate have had a few also, after the scare I’m fully alert or just pull up now. We doing another run across the paddock for Xmas visit to kids and grandkids also our young blokes 40th Birthday. But this ain’t a rush trip, but we over and back in under a month as have to be home for eldest daughter birthday. Any way mate look after yourself and only sleep in your bed. Hope kombi is back to its old self real soon.

    That doesn't look as bad as I had envisioned after your initial crash description.

    What's the tensile rating of the wire you've used? Are you going to get it heat treated to improve the rating?

    I just compared it to other springs from seats that I have from that era.
    It seems ok so far.
    I will add more if needed.
    It was probably 3mm across the wire.
    I don't have a wire gague at the moment.

    The damage is not as bad as I first thought
    And have started repairs .As for me Im ok but are having tests done to get to the bottom of things .Until then im grounded .Cheers Brian .

    Sitting in the waiting room of flinders hospt for my 3mth check upo_O.so far all is good :rolleyes: now just have to get over this last lot ,then its all go for Dubbo.:D

    I have taken a few shots of the vans progress ,seems like a lot of bog in the front door but once it is all sanded back the majority of it will be gone ,i managed to punch a lot of the cave in out then using a tyre lever got the worst of the rest as much as i could .then took the panel back to metal in the affected areas then shaped as best i could ,{starting to realise im not as young as i used to be } it will be ok im sure . post more photos as i go

    By the w a y , i didn't miss with the putty knife, i was filling up scratches. And yep probably slower too. lol.
