What did you do to your Kombi today?

    "Speed" is a state of mind Col. :lol:
    I've been getting the irrates lately when the hatch slams shut when cruising on 100 or higher - freeway runs.
    This way it stays open for that extra bit of ventilation.....without any pressure on the hinges/friction washers.

    Fitted up the last of the interior cards I had made and started rebuilding the rock'n'roll seat ;)

    It is a lovely place, we left there and went to Norfolk Island but that was in '94 - Liss

    Pulled out the motor and gearbox, Sick of all the oil leaks,
    Hit the engine bay with the high pressure hose, it is actually white under all that crap.
    While I have them both out I will replace the shiftrod bushes front and rear.

    Changed the oil and filters and getting ready for a nice coffee and a sticky bun in Canberra with the ACT K Cer's.........and Phil. :cool:

    picked up a set of Fuchs wheels from Gary at wolfsburg.....cant wait to get them on...do ya thaink l'll need to get longer wheel studs....mines a 75 camper....

    if they are aftermarket made by empi you shouldnt need longer studs but need different wheel nuts.

    Bought new seal for the gearbox,
    Well it's out, waste of time just letting it sit there :)
