Yes ,so far so good , we are confident that the op has been a success, had the op on Monday and i am now starting to feel good again, physically anyrate. Was a bit down on Wednesday but thanks have to go to my daughter and son in law who sort of pick me up at times.
The nursing staff here are tremendous, nothing is too much trouble they jus step up to the plate and do what ever it takes to keep you pushing ahead.i am hoping i can go home on Sunday (all being well) and pick up my Caddy on Monday ,Hooorray.
Glad to see you have achieved the sale .

Good day out. Normally 100 or more bugs buses and other VWs. We always enjoy it.

Good to hear the good news Chris :D ..... not unusual to feel out of sorts a couple days after an operation - main thing you're feeling better after all the cr@p they pumped into has got out of your system ;)

Starting to get a bit p#$%&^d off at the moment .seems like its never going to end.BUT both Carolyn and myself are both focussing on being well enough for for the Dubbo trip but shit mate , cant wait to get my new toy home.
Cannot thank both Carolyn n David enough for all the help that have given me over the last couple of mths, has been really, very trying times .but at last we can see a light at the end of that tunnel..
Reckon i have few more good years left in me yet to do a couple more B/STOPS.

Chris, what a bummer :( ..... they'd be better off telling you that you're in for 2 weeks and then after 10 days say you're right to go home :D ..... bit of the old under promise and over deliver instead of the "are we there yet"

Still better that they're being vigilant with you as the last thing you want is to have to go back in because weren't quite ready;)

    .

My coming home b4 the w/end is diminishing fast.got very upset and a little angry, but latter in the evening the nurse came in and explained exactly why they wont let me go home .I now can understand the situation and apologized to those concerned. After all they only have my well being at heart. They are so gracious in their job and they certainly dont need outburst like that. Most of them are doing 12 to 14 hr shifts .....wow ......had they let me go home i believe now i would have been in a bit of trouble by morning.so they made the right call. Yes they are very vigilant ,thank goodness ,oh well the day is not over yet.perhaps tomorrow is the day.???

No use just including the caddy as part of a deceased estate Chris.

Plus hospitals are quick to clear beds so betting they have good cause to put up with you a bit longer. ;)
