Hey Kazz, I can remember sitting under the roots of the Norfolk Island pines at Newport reef in the '70s. A huge NE swell had scoured the beach of sand and provide these weird shelters from the sun.
Great waves at the reef that day...... We all had our little "spots" that we'd hang in........until the old fella washed the sand back in. .......never seen it like that since.
Sitting under the roots of the Norfolk Pines, Whoa !!!
I line my spot up with a Norfolk just north of “Plus’ Platform.....as you say our own “spots”
Gotta Love It !

Love driving a grotty bay around Double Bay
Pulled up to the coffee cafe and a couple of young cyclists we usually see on a Sunday were there as they decided to wag work and ride ..... they are car nuts and knew I had Reschs and so had to check him out and take photos to send to the chat group of others in the group - one of them has a Polo GTI and another trying to get his wife to buy him an Golf R .
