I have just finished watching Back Roads on the ABC which featured Biloela in Qld and WOW what a great community :D .... never expected that Bil or the Big B was ---------- well it just blew us away :).

You really need to watch it if it's some where out there  ..... immigrants seeking a better life and knowing they have to work to earn $$$$ to buy what they will be comfortable with and not expecting handouts.

The new handles for the kitchen cupboards arrived late last week so set about removing the old ones from 1995, cleaning where they'd been and attaching the new SS ones :D ..... got another tick for a good choice and fresh look on the cupboards - even the cupboard on the laundry got one ;)

Just floating in the ocean :D
For the first time in 3 weeks, I was able to walk to the water’s edge and just float for a while.
Beautiful sunshine, crystal clear water and not many people around.......bliss.!
    Cheers,
    Mark

Another wonderful float in the ocean today and relatively pain free when walking.
.....what really made my day was a nice long chat with JD, catching up and just chin wagging.
    I feel great !
    (Great suggestion Grant !)
    Cheers,

A great session with my Chiro., then mowing the lawns, washing the kombi checking on the bees.......and I still feel great ! My back is getting better......and that makes me very happy.
Last week, if someone asked for a Swiss Army knife and reckoned they could have fixed me, I would’ve taken up the offer.... Pain does not make you think straight.
    Cheers,

The body is remarkable at healing itself in time ... as long as it doesn’t become chronic .

Yes, current thinking is to live with the pain and keep moving. When you notice the pain easing, you know you’re getting better. Sounds brutal....and it is, but 2 years ago when my back last went I was put on painkillers, anti inflammatory medication and ordered to rest. It took 7 weeks to come back from that one.
This time, with exactly the same symptoms, I’m feeling 85% after 3 1/2 weeks and the pain is almost gone......
    Cheers,
    Mark

Good to hear Mark you're improving :D

Living with pain &/or discomfort is a daily part of life in this household ;) ..... daily stretches & exercise on the back(s), hips, knees and ankles work for us + on bad days an anti inflammatory pill helps.
This morning back was RS but now feeling so much better.
It's something you don't want but you learn to live with it and know how to manage ;) ..... nope it ain't fun getting old:(

I know how it feels Mark. Worst part is I have a physio for a partner and her favourite response for me is ... " suck it up sunshine!"

Digging for a few days. Jackhammer and pick. Clay, shale and mudstone.
What made me happy was uncovering the pipe we have to tap into.
Still a bit of digging before we drop in the pipe but feels do-able now.

Is your home made from mud bricks, love them but a lot of hard work to build with.

Watching my little nugget of a six year old tear up the midfield on the soccer field in his return to games this morning. Playing a year up , ran his heart out and never stopped trying, even scored a goal. Proud.
