Finished trimming the f'hedge (not a spelling or typo mistake it's what I call it) :D..... it's top is 3 metres off the ground now still 15 metres long and 700mm deep  not a fun job standing 1.5 metres up a ladder with a 600mm petrol hedge trimmer to do the top and contend with only just enough room fit the ladder sideways between retaining wall and pool  trimmings fill 2 wheelie bins. Happy it's done :) but will be happier once the debris is blown out of the decorative pebbles and then scooped out of the pool and it's vacuumed ;).

Afternoon Chris, well a post some 3 or 4 weeks back mentioned I had cleaned and sharpened the chainsaw in readiness for some serious pruning of the f'hedge to a manageable height :rolleyes::(- a term which escapes the other half who thinks the f'hedge is pretty @ that height ..... she knows what a mongrel it is to do and that height and obstacles + pool you'd be lucky to get a garden care mob to prune it as they'd claim a not safe work space ;) ..... it is also well known that my height is ground height.
I'ts taken me until this week to bit the bullet and do the trimming which in total is about a 6+ hr job .

Congrats Patrick, and well deserved! :)

Doubt I could ever achieve such a statistic..... you have to be really likable, and not annoy other members, to do that. :p

Warm NW offshore breeze, crystal clear ocean and 2’ logging waves with only a couple of Little Penguins for company.....a perfect way to start the day......off to the Salt Mines shortly.

Two days in a row the westerly was howling .Perfect off shore with waves at North Narrabeen yesterday and like a lake today. The best was taking the babies to the rock shelf left of the rock pool and being totally out of the wind. Perfect.
    Gotta love it!!
