Actually snuck out. Valid reasons, pharmacy, bank, building materials, post office box. But nice to see the big world.

Saw lots of Dads running, jogging, cycling or walking with their kids on the way to work today......
Nice to see families really connecting....it's usually the drop-off, tear off to work, back home for dinner and repeat the next day scenario.
    Cheers,

Took Reschs out to deliver last months issue of Wheels to an elderly (82yo) friend ..... catch up talk as he by himself and mentioned I need to do some cabinetry work to fit the new oven as the cavity is bigger than that needed for the new Bosch - says follow me and there is a table saw that will fit in the boot and (hopefully) make some timber and shelving cutting easier :) may as well throw in 4 G clamps John as I may need them also

Yeah Mark, I was hoping he may have one so that I could take the shelving and other timber to his place to be cut but have a portable one surprised me.
This guy does a lot of metal work and rescues small kids cars & scooters that are battery powered or converts the cars to battery powered ..... he does them up, I help with sourcing hand and foot throttles, horns, lights, controllers etc and buying them on the internet as he can't use a computer, once finished he gives them away to kids who don't have such a toy ..... people see what he does and want him to make one for their kid and expect it'll free which his time if but the parts price they baulk @ paying him SO they don't get one.

What made me very happy today? Locating a pair of shoes that I really really wanted but because they were at a DFO, they would not let me buy them over the phone and post them so a very kind VW friend went to the trouble today to go and buy them for me and will post them to me!! Saved me a lot of money (they were reduced by about $200) and I am really looking forward to getting them :D

Dropped Old Boy to the mechanics today to get fish oil in all his cavities;):p. Box section chassis, dog legs, inside the rear wheel arches after removing the 3 plugs @rstucke , (mechanic has never heard of that & thought it to be a mod...not). & up into the A pillars & below the new front clip....$250:D. The rest of him has cavity wax inside the panels.
Pretty sure he'll outlive me now:(. I've kept up the fish oil (rustoil product) in many areas over the years.
Now a bit more comprehensively done:).
    Cheers
